Congrats, I got the same gun. You got it for a really good price too! I think the night sights need to be "charged" by sunlight. Since mine is stored in the box, the night sights never really work.

I had also bought the gun used, not sure how many rounds went through it. The new spring is definitely stronger than the old one.

Regarding my post above, I replaced my recoil spring with a Wolf 14lb. Took it to the range today and it worked great. No FTFs : )

Hey vzenmn, I am getting similar probems with my 75bd that I bought used, but in very good condition. I don't get the stovepipe issue anymore, could of been related to cleaning out the extractor spring area. I still get the FTF issue, can't narrow it down to any particular mag or ammo...

I'd get the glock if that's what you really want. I really wanted a G19, but found a deal and bought a CZ75BD. The CZ shoots great, but I've had stovepipes and FTF in different ammo. I'm sure I could solve the problem with new springs, etc, but I couldn't be bothered. Maybe it's a rarity...
