I appreciate your response a1abdj.These little safes are a pain to move around.Only needed one but couldn't pass up the deal I got on the used Amvault. And they are bolted down in the concrete so hopefully a smash and grab want get far with them.Safe's probably worth more than the contents anyway:(
I have an amvault TL-15(1050lbs) and a Hayman magna vault TL-30(1105lbs) that each have a bolt down hole in bottom. Was this a mistake from the manufacurer? Both UL listed.
Thanks a1abdj.Me and my buddies had to drive 300mi to get this thing. The one I get I'll remember to have delivered.Measurements are outside so it is kinda narrow for a gun safe.Works fine for her papers, documents, etc;.Started out for $1200.00 but after paying fuel, help and lumber we destroyed...
Does anyone know if a safe that is TL-30x6 is marked as such or just marked TL-30?I found one that is marked TL-30 and seller said it was 2200lbs(he thought). It is 65"tall,30.5"deep and 26"wide.Sides are 3" thick and 1 1/2" of that is solid steel plate. Not sure what the other 1 1/2" is made...
Some SP101 after market panels will fit the compact(fixed sight) GP100 grips if the panels have been drilled out for the grip locator pin.I actually prefer the small grip on my adjustable sight GP and also have a set on my alaskan 44 mag but it is a handfull with magnum loads.
I put a Mesa leo on my 870 with a hogue forearm and rifle sight barrel.Fit is perfect but have not even fired it.Looks great but just not my thing.I'm going to take stock off and put some police walnuts on.Guess that will leave me with more "stuff" just laying around. You might want to shoot one...
Sam Beckett.I also thought Barney carried a Colt police positive.Rendered incapable of firing and about 2-3 yrs ago actioned off on e-bay and went for around $7800.00 with all the documents.
I have that same holster for my sp101.I run my belt through the back loop from the back side,in front of the holster and through the front side of the front loop.Makes it hold tighter to my hip. Also have a KL Null holster that does not have a trigger guard or hammer snap.Didn't know if would be...
If you have a blued in good shape,I wish I'd known before I hit gunbroker or I would have traded you a rounded for your square.Be really careful not to ignore the pawl spring while your lining up the parts. It's easy to pinch it if you're not watching whats going on.
Anyone here familiar with the Hayman magna vault TL-30 series safes.Might have found a deal on one and just wondering about the construction of it.Thanks
I took Sam1911's advice and moved the strap back.Helped a lot.Loops can be adjusted for cant as they have screws under the snaps.I might even use mine now. Thanks Sam.:)
Got one yrs ago for a 3" or 4" GP100.It works better with the 4" but still wants to tilt forward since most of the revolver is above the belt.Keeps gun high and close to side with good tight fit.The 3" was not enough barrel to keep from leaning forward.May be some adjustment on belt loops,I...
If you can buy the best large safe, that's good.If you're like me and don't want to spend that much, you could buy two smaller well built safes. One for long guns and one for your hand guns and smaller items. That would take twice the time as breaking in to one safe of medium quality.I tossed the...
Thanks for the reply.I've searched for info including the website but no luck.I noticed it had a lagard group II combo lock so that was a plus.No info on how they came up with the fire rating or the metal thickness that it has.I do appreciate your information.
Anybody have any information on a cobalt SB-03 fire/burglary safe.Is the fire rating UL listed or just a guess? Also, what thickness metal on sides and top.Looking for something in this size range without going Amsec or similar for $1200+ shipping. Thanks
I'll add another grain of salt about AIP tactical.Bought my 18" RS barrel from him and was very pleased. He also sells on Gun Broker, which is where I bought mine from.I believe he'll talk 870's all day long if you have the time.:D
Still use a shotgun with federal flight control buckshot out of an 18" barrel for those critters. But some or most are to far away for buckshot.Tried my 223 but does not seem to have a very fast kill.As bad as I dislike beavers and the damage they do,I hate to put one or two pellets in one and...
