I just got my hands on a Mossberg T46B 22. I can't seem to find much info on it. The one I got has the peep sites and it also has a Mossberg scope and mounts. Can any one tell me any thing it.
Just a little poll for those of you who shoot Bullseye.
Which average is better 22 or centerfire and buy how much.
I don't want to what your average just the difference.
My 22 is about 2 points higher than my centerfire.
My Dad started shooting bullseye last year and is having trouble with his trigger on his Mark 3. Some one at our club told him he needs a wider triger ( he has arthritis very bad). He is thinking this would help hem since his trigger finger has trouble bending. My question is where can I get a...
I have been shooting indoor pistol for many years and have never shot an outdoor match. The 22 ammo stays the same but what about the 45 ammo? Do you just change the sights or do you change the load? I want to shoot a 2700 outdoor match this spring.
My son shots a Smith Model 10 in bullseye and he would like to put a hammer with a larger spur (Target Hammer). Can any one help me on a place to purchace one.
I want to shoot in my basement and was looking into getting an air pistol. Any one have any ideas? The Baikal Model IZH-46M is one I was looking at. It seems to be the best priced for a target pistol and I don't want to get a cheep knock off that cant shoot or one that needs a compressed air...
Ok here is a question for all you target shooters. What size dot do you like to shoot. Big dots or little dots. I like the smaller size for indoor bullseye and the larger dot for outdoor shooting. I'm not sure why I like the smaller dot. I think it makes me aim small miss small (The Patriot).
I would like to start casting my own bullets. I have nothing to do it with where should I start. I want to cast 2 types to start 38cal 148 dbbwc and 45 cal 185 or 200gr swc in a H&G 68 mold style.
Thanks
Mike
After shooting bullseye for a little over 10 years now I think I have hit a wall on scores. My timed and rapid scores are right where I want them (98 and 97) but my slow fire is not so good (89) I would like to get it up into the 90s does any one have any ideas to get me over the hump.
Mike
As not to highjack another thread I thought I would make my point here that you can use a revolver in bullseye and do quite well. I have been shooting bullseye for over 10 years and I started out shooting what I had that was the most accurate which was a Colt Anaconda 44mag I loaded it with...
Just a little tip. My son has a SW mod 15 he wanted to shoot bullseye with. Not having a great deal of funds to start with he got a bolt on scope rail and a Barska Halo scope. I mounted the rail and scope for him and went to the range to see how it worked. We put up a target and shot, nothing on...
Has anyone else found it hard to find cast bullets these days. I contacted the place I have been getting my bullets for a few years now and he told me he was having trouble getting the raw materials to cast. (I know the prices are going through the roof.) He also told me that he knows of 3...
I picked up a Model 10 last night and was wondering if any one could help me find out when it was mfg. it has a 5 dig serial number 97XXX. It is in great shape I don't think it was fired much. Thanks
My slow fire targets are not doing so good this year. My timed and rapid are doing very good. I'm not sure what to work on to get my slow fire scores up. Any ideas out there. (this is for bullseye shooting)
I am now a Model 41 owner and was wondering if any one had and does or don'ts for it (ammo types, feed problems, stove piping, etc). I have been shooting a tricked out Ruger Mark II in compitions and never had any problems. Thanks
This question has probably been hashed out many times but scince I'm new to the site here it is. I've shoot indoor bullseye for years and I used a revolver, a few years back I broke down and got a target 45 (Springfield Armory Trophy Match). My current load is 3.8grs of 231 and a 180gr swc from...
