    Ruger Rifle Revision

mikeone, my gunsmith and I discussed the possibility of milling the bolt guide in the receiver of the rifle to clear the feed lips of an uncut magazine. Have a look and see what you think.

    Randy Weaver's shotgun(s)

Remember that while Randy was convicted of failing to appear in court he was not convicted of anything that came out of the Ruby Ridge incident. Kevin Harris was not convicted of anything. Also remember that the Weaver family was given an out of court settlement to make the whole thing go away...

Gunman opens fire at a church in Neosho

From the Joplin Globe (local to Neosho): "McCracken said police found three guns at the scene, a 9 mm handgun with an oversized magazine and two .22-caliber pistols." Source. The previous quote I posted is from the AP. :banghead:

Gunman opens fire at a church in Neosho

"The gunman had two small-caliber handguns and one 9 mm semiautomatic machine pistol with a large magazine, said Dave McCracken, Neosho police chief." :scrutiny: Source.

    Quit badmouthing the AR-7!

I wish I could convert my (Henry) AR-7 to a bolt action, then maybe it would be worth taking to the range.

    Movie: Shooter

In the opening scene after his spotter is killed and he brings out the .50, did anybody else notice that he was racking the bolt after every shot? The rifle looks like a semi-auto to me. Hollywood.

    UK to seek balcony control?

That poor intruder. I hope he is okay. They should lock that evil apartment owner up forever. Who does he think he is anyway...defending himself like that? If he had just curled up in a ball and waited for the proper authorities to save him that nice intruder would still be on the street doing...

I have done some business with them at the local gun shows. They seem like nice people who are knowledgeable. Good prices on reasonably good gear.

Install a slip-on recoil pad. That should give you an extra inch or so. Why do you feel that it is too short?

    Puma Levergun in 357

I had one. It had feeding issues and there was a little collar inside that broke. Sorry I don't know what the little part was called. At 100 yards it was capable of 12" groups from a rifle rest. They are crudely made. I would like to have another lever gun at some point but it won't be a...

    Newer Henry AR7s any good?

I bought a new one a month or two ago and it is pretty unreliable. I have seen FTF, FTE, doubling and pretty bad vertical stringing. They seem to be nothing but a novelty. I would not recommend that you waste your money on one. A basic 10/22 should only be about $40 more and it should last...

Filling the need for a high cap 22-250 bolt gun

The M-14 magazine has a tab welded on the back of it that engages the magazine catch on an M-14 (or M1A). On mine the magazine is held in place by the front edge of the trigger guard and the stock itself (see the pics below). It looks like it would be pretty easy to just rock the magazine...

Filling the need for a high cap 22-250 bolt gun

Somewhere in a darkened room lit only by the glare of a computer monitor an "anti" weeps. Krochus, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Cut and paste Ak question for a freind

The Saiga I bought in 7.62X39 is shaping up to be the most reliable semiautomatic rifle I have ever owned. I have around 2000 rounds through it without a single failure. The Saigas come out of the Izhmash factory in Russia and the quality seems to be very good. For the price I think they are...
