    Micro Grove

I think using the Laser lead bullets is the key to the question. I just asked a good friend this same question last night. I saw he was using cast lead bullets in a Marlin Micro-grove rifle (.44) and I asked him how it works out. He said by casting the right size and hardness bullet, you'll...

    Never happened.

Do you practice with your carry ammo?

I used to do it once in a while. Well, it's been a while and I don't have any plans to do it again too soon.

How many folks shoot a shorter barrell better than a long

With my revolvers, I've always shot better with a six inch barrel over a four and a four inch over a two.

    $300 NRA life membership

Nice to offer it. It is a great offer especially for young people, but I'll just keep plugging along at my five year membership blocks.

Show us your Lever Guns. (pics)

Here's one of my levers, a 1914 .30 ARMY Win. Model 1895 Carbine. And yes, that's a cartridge holder on the stock as I still put it to use on occasion. (It also protects the stock a bit too.)

Bill Ruger - Among the Best Gun Designers

IMO no, not even close. That doesn't make him a bad business man though.

Have you been shooting longer than I've been alive?

Forty years now with firearms. It was Wrist Rockets, BB and pellet guns before that. :)

Anyone here use a Simmons Aetec scope?

No Aetecs here but a few Simmons scopes none the less. A pair of .22mags, a fixed 4x32, a ProHunter 3-9x40 and a .44mag in 4-12x44AO. I'm satisfied with all of mine. I suppose the .44mag is the closest to what you want and I think that this is a very good value scope. I'd think the Aetec would...

    Do you own a .22lr?

Thanks. That's nice to know. I'm sure we'll all keep that in mind. Me? I'm writing it down now. I don't think it strange to start a thread/poll with no more than, "Do you own a .22lr?" But for the OP to follow that up with the first post comprised of nothing more than just that, "Do you...

What does it take to punch an engine block?

:what: From one foot away! You have a bigger set of balls than I do. Around thirty five years ago in mid winter, me and a pal were out plinking with our .22s. Way out on the backside of an uninhabited mountain we spotted a dark, cylindrical object about four inches in diameter sticking...
