There have been a few questions about having to ship this rifle through an FFL. If this rifle was made in 1888 does it need to be shipped to an FFL holder?

What? No single shots? Had this octagon barrel cut to 6 3/4". this one is 44 magnum. The 22 octagon is at the smithy now.
