The color red seems to work best for me. I'll use red post-it notes at 50 yards. At 100 yards I use a quarter of a 81/2 x 11 sheet of red construction paper on a white background. This is for iron sight rifles.

I have one and it is almost as accurate as my CZ452. Some days equal. The only issue I've had was mangling the little spring on top by the mag well. I looked all over and it doesn't seem to be available. Nonetheless, it is a fun rifle.

Personally, I find that red dot sights are good for " pretty close," but the MBUS are far more accurate for me.

Invest in reloading equipment.

I've been pretty happy with my Savage Axis with the Accutrigger. I can't say it does well with box ammo, but I reload and the results are impressive. Consistently MOA at 100 yds.

So true. If you've been around for the past few election cycles there's no reason that you're not sitting on a decent supply. Like Speedo66, I have a lifetime supply of loaded ammo and components for several thousand more. Stay safe everyone.

Splattergun, I have the Simplisafe system and your comment made me question the worth of my posting a sign on my lawn telling the world what system I use. I think I should pick up an ADT sign on fleabay.

I'm not sure there is a definitive answer to this question. NJ laws are intentionally vague. They imply what is legal and it's assumed all other uses are therefore illegal. I could see this being decided before a judge if the cop that finds it is having a bad day.

I keep a spent 30-06 case in the truck to use as a cigar punch. Maybe i'll have to rethink that.

Take empty 1 lb jug and cut off top 1/3. It's pliable and makes pouring easy.
