    Anaconda Range Report

Anaconda! I have a 6 inch stainless Anaconda in .45 Colt as well! I used to have a 6 1/2 inch Smith 29 but I like the Colt much better. Takes my heavy loads with ease and is accurate to boot! I used it to take a whitetail in Montana 2 years ago. 250 grain XTP and 26 grains of 296. Does...

    Best revolver manufacturer.

Best Handgun??? I see noone mentioned the Colts line. I know that they abandoned us civilians for the military market and not wanting to deal with the gun control issues and litigation, however, they have made some fine guns over the years. I have a Python that's so sweet to shoot! Maybe not...

    S&W 686 or Colt Python ?

Python vs S&W 686 Hi! Smokepole here in the Americas. (Peoples Republic of California) I have experience with both those guns and the GP100 also mentioned. I have had two Pythons over the years and I think they are the BEST handgun ever made. The action is shorter than the Smith and glass...

    Cz-45 6.35

Cz-45 that's my gun! The serial number is in a different place and the symbols are moved around but that's the gun. I'm wondering is this is the early model 36 or 45. I'll keep looking for early info on these. I think this was brought over from Europe in the 40s. Is there any value to...

    Cz-45 6.35

Cz-45? I got this gun from a family member that had it for 60 years. It's in excellent shape. How do I know what model it is? I read somewhere of a model 1922 and also a model 36 that seems similar. Any ideas?

    Cz-45 6.35

Cz 6.35??? I aquired one of these little pistols and followed your advise for take down and it worked! The one I have is chrome plated and I'm not sure what model it is. Markings on left side of frame in cut-out above trigger guard is the #47 and an "N" with some symbol in the middle of it...

Ruger GP100 6" accuracy vs. Colt Python 6"?

Python vs Ruger My best friend has a 6" GP100. He bought it because he couldn't afford a Python. I have a 4" Python (my second over 25 years). I can shoot 3/4" at 25 yards most of the time with hot (125 Win JHP w/20 gr 296) loads. It's a nasty load that my gun likes. The GP100 is a boat...

    Corbon .45 ACP Load

I'm trying to duplicate the Corbon 200 gr. .45ACP load with the HUGE hollowpoint cavity. Anyone know what bullet they used and where it or it's equivalent can be found? What about the powder and charge? They claim 1050 fps from a 5" 1911. (Remember the flying ashtray?)
