Nope. Completely different rounds. CB Longs are a 29 grain round nose lead bullet in a .22 Long case @ an advertised 710 fps, while the Quiet load is a 40 grain round nose lead bullet in a full length .22 Long Rifle case. I think the CB load which you state you have are the same load as the CB...
I've tested extensively in 40 primarily with 180's.
Worked all the way to max @ 6.5 and settled on
On a fairly modest 6.2 grains with a Berry or X-treme plated FP. Usually yields around 1030 fps or so from a Glock 22 and right at 1000 from a Glock 23. I still see low spreads in these loads...
Great posts arish. Glad to see someone else exploring true performance of this powder.
I worked up to 6.2 grains with 124's. Saw between 1230-1250 fps from a Glock 19.
Settled on 6.0 with an X-treme 124 HP plated. This load is absolutely the most accurate load I've ever developed and runs...
Yep.....just got the email as well. Good news indeed.
10% off their excellent 40 165 grain bullets as well.
UPS ground still sucks though but I guess for $5 flat rate we shouldn't complain.
Best price point on quality plated in the industry!

Wow.....go look at their shipped prices now....especially if your on the east coast. Very close to Berry's pricing now.
Oh well.....good until they reset with the rest of their industry.

I switch between Auto-Comp and WSF for 9mm and 40 performance loads. I can tell you over the last few years I've worked up what I consider safe loads significantly above published data, which appears to be way conservative.
I'm running 1200 plus fps with 9mm 124's, and 1000 plus fps with...
How did you get the gun to cycle on a load at 185 fps?
Did the report and recoil match that feeble velocity or is there a Chrono anomaly at play here?
TR
Hodgdon states that AUTOCOMP is close to HS-6.
Both AUTO COMP and HS-6 are produced out of the St. Marks FL. plant which is now owned by General Dynamics.
TR
Well thanks for that liberty.......you missed my point.
It's an outstanding powder in 40 for full performance loads.
WSF is still better in the accuracy department with about a 25-30 fps loss in max velocity.

I load to 1.130 for both the minor load and the blaster loads. I never could understand the long load thing except for realibility maybe in the single stacks. When I had problems with the Kimber initially, I loaded no shorter than 1.170. Turns out loading long was only masking an extractor...
Sure have on the Titegroup. I was just weighing in here on the medium speed stuff but prefer the snap of the faster powders with the 180's. I was on the GT forum last night talking about TG and even some Bullseye loads I tested just yesterday. I like to load 180's around 960ish to duplicate...
