Thanks for the help. I didn't see the burris tactical bases that go with the scope rings. I'm wanting the tactical bases/rings to put on my target rifle that I'm putting together.

I have a night vision rifle scope that has a 1/2'' dovetail on the base of the scope. Where can a find the adapters to connect the 1/2'' DT to a 7/8'' weaver rail? I can't seem to find anything on the net. Thanks, Gary.

Thanks, for all the help. After looking at it the rear sight, it does move on a dovetail. Now I'm ready to go back to the range.

I have a old savage 340 with the dockendorff sights and it shots about 3'' to the left at 50 yards. I don't see anyway to adjust the sight from left to right or is there a way? Is there any after market sights that will fit on it? Thanks, Gary.

Ok, I've narrowed it down to a .270 in a Remington CDL or CZ 550 American rifle. Which one should I choose? I keep hearing nothing but great things about the CZ, but I've never even seen one in person. Any advise will help, thank you.

It's a .222 and I use it for taking neck shots on whitetails 100 yards or less.

I bought a new weaver base and rings. I mounted the scope and the scope is offset to the right side of the center of the gun. Does this have any affect on the accuracy of the rifle?

I figured it out. The newer weaver scope bases are made with a elevated scope ring guard. The one that I have is really old and isn't elevated. Thanks!

I have an older Savage 340, I went to mount a scope on it with using the weaver 2 piece #1 mount. But, the scope doesn't fit evenly in the valley of the rings. The wider part of the scope around the adjustment knobs hits before the tube, making it uneven. Is there any fix for this problem? I...
