Barry The Bear ~. You know what, I think you're right. I've done quite a bit of looking through Lobo's website and their youtube reviews and videos and I'm going to contact them. I want to thank everyone who took the time to provide their comments and opinions!

Anybody Got A Quick 5 Mil?

I don't believe that Wyatt Earp's gun used at the O.K. Corral (if it could be located and provenance absolutely proven) would fetch anywhere near that amount of coin ~ maybe $1,000,000, but not much more. I alao think any self-respecting gun true aficionado / collector would much rather have...

DT Guy / Larry ~ Hey, I did some searching for those protective buttons you recommended on Knifekits and used every descriptor I could think of and I cannot find what you were referring to in your comment. Perhaps you can provide a link.

High Quality Leather Holsters For S&W N Frame

Thank you for all the replies. I'm seeing that the two makers with products closest to what I'm looking for are available at Lobo and Desantis. I'm well acquainted with Desantis and hope their quality is comparable to years past. Lobo I've heard of and their offerings look real nice...

Best Online Retailers for Cleaning Supplies

Hey folks. Just checking to see what online retailers are the best in terms of broadest selection and most reasonable prices on gun cleaning supplies. I'm talking everything: Brushes (both bore and surface) Bore Cleaners, Jags, Lubricants (Hoppe's, Rem-Oil, etc), Patches, Swabs (long stick...

Mixed Headstamps & NATO in Winchester White Box 9mm

Just my $0.02, but I'd be disassembling that 9mm and inspecting it, its case and the associated paperwork (manual, warranty card, etc.) very closely as well just to make sure everything is in order.

    Question for Gunbroker Experts

Hi all, it's been quite a while since I've posted out here, but have a policy question regarding listing a sale on Gunbroker (a site I've used many years ago for both buying and selling) for which I don't readily find the answer within their detailed and voluminous legalese. Specifically...

    G2 R.I.P. Ammo

Hahaha. Their video is a partial take off from the '70's Six Million Dollar Man tv show intro. They zoom in and flash one of the "trocar" petals. Hahaha. They have the technology, they can rebuild the common bullet, make it better, stronger, faster!!!! Ahahahahahaha!!!! Next, they...

Just got a Trijicon Reflex, VERY disappointed

Are these Trijicon Reflex units really that bad? People seem to love them or hate them. Did you buy it new or used? Is it marked with the date of manufacture?

Getting a stolen rifle, recovered by ATF, back?

Understood. My only suggestion would be to read Pub 547 prior to suggesting it is deductible, as there are rules and limitations. In particular the AGI threshold which would limit the deductibility of any loss to the extent the loss itself exceeds 10% of AGI. From Pub 547: I do agree with...

ND last night. Listen and learn.

Brad, Thank you for your story. This is a very valuable lesson for all of us, and I appreciate your taking the time to help remind us all of what can happen. BTW, your ND is exactly the same scenario as what happened to a close friend of mine when a buddy of his did the same exact same...

Guns and alchohol consumption - Poll

Ah.... I think prolly 95% of us never shoot and drink at the same time. I enjoy a beer or glass of wine from time-to-time, but never in conjunction with the shooting or handling of firearms.

US Marshalls proposed asset forfeiture surpasses even the Nazis

 I don't have alot of sympathy for these maggots. What about when drug dealers steal the souls of innocent youngsters who get hooked on their junk? Or what about when they execute others over deals gone wrong, greed, etc? OTOH, I wouldn't waste the gov't. time / money on...

    Sig 220 sight question.

Chicane, I'm going nuts because I have not been able to locate my originals, but I have found out from knowledgeable folks over at the Sig forum that the P-220 typically comes from the factory with #6 fronts and #8 rears. I have found in numerous references to #6 fronts and #8 rears posts...

Major Dilemma! Have to dump a gun!

Can't argue too much with TexGunners argument, but I am partial to Sigs and I would keep the P226 because you may use the P226 mags in the P228, but not vice versa. Just a thought. I regret selling my P226.
