    Best Lefty Pistol (9mm)

Since the gun needs to be both ambi and suitable for both genders, I would argue that the Smith & Wesson M&P is the best choice. With ALL of the controls on both sides of the gun AND three grip sizes, the M&P 9 would be a perfect choice. Very high capacity, reliable, ambi and adjustable.

A good look at the Smith and Wesson M&P

Nice post Zulu6 - I had very similar experiences when first trying the M&P 40. I purchased one used, but really almost new. It would not feed properly so I drove it up to S&W and not only did they fix it perfectly, but they added night sights for free and gave me another 15 rd. magazine...

    Glock 23 mag problem...

I've never been able to get the mag loader to work. It seems like it wants to push the round down in the wrong place. In short time, the 12 rounds will compress the spring enough though. Thanks, Bob

    Glock 23 mag problem...

Not uncommon. I just replaced the springs in my three Glock 13rd magazines. I can't get a 13th round in any of them until the springs ease up a little bit. All three mags easily took 13 with the old springs, but one of them would not always hold the slide back anymore. After a little break-in...

Wolf ammo and the Glock 23???

I've used it before, with no problems. It's maybe not the ammo that you should run all the time, but it's hard to imagine that 50 rounds could do anything bad. Shoot it!

Question for those that use the Glock 23 as thier CCW IWB.

I have a Galco deep cover and find it a bit uncomfortable. I use a lighter, thinner IWB, but I don't have it today and can't recall the name of it. IWB carry in general with the Glock 23 is uncomfortable for me. The more I carry, the more I appreciate my Fobus paddle holster. You just have to...

    M&P 40 v. Glock 40 - review and thoughts

This week, I’ve had a chance to do a side-by-side comparison of my trusty Glock 23 and an almost new Smith & Wesson M&P 40. Much of this post comes from I reply I posted to another question. I decided to post this a new topic, because it’s really a bit different. My Glock 23 is 13 years...

M&P - is it really any better than a Glock?

Interesting question...I have a Glock 22, 23 and 27. I also have a pretty new M&P 40. My 23 is 13 years old, and I have a Hogue slip on grip on it. I have medium to small hands. (I wear a cadet medium golf glove, if that helps anyone) My Glock 23 is my absolute "go to" gun. I had a trigger...
