4v50 gary You said that it was air rifles that you can not use a normal rifle scope. At the risk of sounding foolish, why? The only difference that I can see is the amount of recoil and the recoil on an air rifle is the opposite direction from a regular rifle. Please explain. Thanks

there was a book out a few years ago about Jim Bridger, the only thing that I can remember was it was a plain looking book, and if I remember right it was kind of redish colored. Fantastic read, I wish I could provide more info. If anybody could help I would appreciate it.

Yes it does have the invector tubes. I just pulled the manual out that came with the gun and it does not have the engraving in the book either.

I have a Browning BPS that I bought new about 12 years ago. I have noticed that the new BPS's no longer have the engraved receiver. Does anybody know off hand how what years the BPS was made with the engraved receiver and if they have a higher market value?
