Well, the short frame 5-shot guns in 454 Casull, 475 LB, 500 JRH and 500 LB are pretty popular, too. You'd be well set, IMO, with a 6-shot BFR in 41 mag, 44 mag or 45 Colt. For 357 mag, I'll stick with my old model Ruger Blackhawk.

I picked up the P365 with 10 round mags to pocket carry and it does so admirably. I bought a couple extra 12 round mags for mag changes if the pistol ever comes into extended play. If I'm going to need a hip holster, the XL is not where I'm going to go. That would be the P320. That's great...

I have the 6" S&W barrel. I understand that I should be able to get a 4" to 4-1/4" barrel out of it on the Ruger single action. That's just fine with me. I gravitate toward shorter barrels on handguns.

Yes, I have an old model Ruger 357 mag flat top. It came without a cylinder, ejector rod and ejector rod housing but the frame is in very good shape.

I have a S&W 41 mag take-off barrel from a model 57, and 2 OM cylinders to bore out to 41 Spl and 41 mag. Also some resin ivory for the grips.

I never wanted to mess with converted guns so always bought original OM revolvers. Easy as pie since, what, the 1800s???? Load one, skip a chamber, load 4 more, then hammer all the way back and let down on an empty chamber.

As a companion to a lever gun in 357? A Ruger old model Blackhawk 357. As a sometimes carry gun in urban jungles? A slicked up S&W 66 or 686... 3 to 4 inches.

I forget the powder, and couldn't swear to the bullet weight, but I used to shoot 600 meter matches with a guy who loaded his 308 ammo by filling the case to the top with a slow burning, extruded powder, then seating a bullet on top... and he could hit all 20 X's at 600 yards with his ammo/rifle...

I am really liking the 480 Ruger a lot. Plinking load is a 370 grain RNFP at 900 fps. I like this one with 9 grains W231 or 16.5 grains H108. Hunting load is a Mihec 385 grain HP @ 1050 - 1100 fps. I load this with 14.5 grains Hercules Blue Dot.

5+1 semi-auto, a Turkish import by ATI. Should be plenty. If not, the 20+1 Sig Sauer 9mm should help quash the invaders.
