    Polish Tantel 5.45x39

It might be a good idea to avoid Tantals made by Century Arms. The US-made barrels they have will not properly stabilize bullets very well. You might even see sideways bullet holes in your targets! But putting a fixed stock on a Tantal shouldn't be a problem.

    I got myself a S&W model 19-4!

Heh, I forgot to post the good side profile pic I took. I ALSO forgot to say where I got this from. My uncle used to be a sheriff and this was his duty weapon. I ended up getting this at no expense to myself

    Got a Tantal!

Iheartboost, it is not a Century build and seems about as accurate as your average AR-15. Mine says "Ewbank Mfg." on the bottom of the receiver.

    Got a Tantal!

^^ I got it from Arms of America. It shipped really fast, too. I got it in less than a week. ^ Yeah, I clean it pretty religiously after a shoot.

    I got myself a S&W model 19-4!

Hmm, I was hoping I could avoid doing it that way. I don't really care too much about the S&W certificate or anything. EDIT: Aha! Thanks, I'll take look at that later today.

    Got a Tantal!

And I took some pictures: I find it funny that the 5.45mm bullet on the left weighs less than the 5.56mm bullet on the right.

    I got myself a S&W model 19-4!

Here are some pictures: As you can see, it has some holster wear on two sides of the cylinder. Does anyone know how to look up the history of a Smith revolver? I'd just like to know the date of manufacture.

    at what distance does a .223 become = a 22lr?

Maybe, but a .223 bullet has a pretty tough jacket over it, so maybe a .223 at the same velocity as the .22LR would have penetrated.

    Strange Lancaster AK problem...

Here's a copy of the email I sent to Lancaster: "I recently got a Blond Romanian G rifle from Arms of America and it has had some strange problems. I took it out Saturday to shoot it for the first time. The first magazine went well without any major issues. After that, it appeared to...

I've done most of that, except for taking pictures. I'll do it this weekend when I get back from college.

Soooo... What AK clone is this?

I guess this little guy thinks he's pretty cool, being a Sheik's grandson and all. Does anyone know for sure what rifle he has? I'm pretty sure it's Yugoslavian, but I don't know what exact type it is. Hmm. Proper trigger discipline?

    Another Gun Range Story

Reminds me of my 1911. Once, before I was about to shoot, I decided to check the muzzle. Of course, the slide was back and there wasn't a magazine in the pistol. Want to know what I found inside the bore? A big ol' cleaning patch halfway in. I'm glad I checked... :uhoh: I now make a...
