Found this on that Walther .22 and it doesn't sound too bad for a first gun. There are quite a few women that like and will only carry .22s.

I've owned 2 Mossberg 500's and never had a problem with them. My brother and couple of my friends also had 500's and never had any issues with them. :)
Yep, the bean counters will always try to lower the costs of manufacturing. Nothing wrong with that as long as it works. I would just get 2 or 3 spare polymer rods to have on hand in case of breakage failure. :)
Yes, There's great potential for somebody getting killed in this situation. That's the first thing I would think of and thus would never let this happen. :eek:

There does seem to be a much greater amount of Pro-2nd Amendment folks than I would have thought. I'm very pleased to see this. There may be hope for us yet. :)
