I think your selections sound about right. With the rifles I currently own I will go with my Bushmaster AR .223, Savage 93R 17hmr, and my .40 Beretta CX-4.

Winchester 190 22lr almost 40 years ago from my parents for Christmas. Still have it and it is in nice condition. With the price of ammo, I have been shooting a lot more 22 these days and was surprised how well it still shoots. I just wish I could see as good as I could when it was new.;)

Just bought a Henry lever action H001T 22lr rifle today with the 20" octagon barrel. Nice little plinker for the money. Have been shooting a lot more 22lr lately since the high price of ammo. Much more economical when my grown sons come home and we go out to do a little target shooting.
