Although I don't use my G37 for carry (still use a Commander for that), I found that it makes an excellent home defense pistol with the M3 Light attached. Can't beat the price either!

RotR: Get the best .45 you can afford and put it in an IWB Holster. I use the Wilson IWB Featherweight as it will fit any 1911 style pistol regardless of slide length (so if you feel like carrying a Commander one day and a Full Size Government the next...one holster works for both pistols).

1st Gen SPR's... Actually, the 1st Gen SPR's had a chrome lined bore and a 26" barrel. The current FN 2nd Gen Models come in either a 20" or a 24" model. Haven't shot the 2nd Gen SPR's, but the 1st Gens are definitely tack drivers! I've got a NightForce NXS 5.5-22X56mm with a NP-R2 reticle...

Ed Brown or Wilson Combat... If you can afford a Brown or Wilson...that would be my recommendation. Valtro...sure can't beat the price (if you can find one). Good Luck!
