Have you considered a Hi-Point? My son in law showed me this relatively inexpensive weapon. Mixed reviews.

ATI got one My LGS had them for $299, and then the $30 rebate comes off the top. So for less than $300 I have a new 1911. Took it to the range today. A bit rough at first, but after 100 rounds or so smoothed right out. Learning the sight was the trick for me. Shot well once I figured them out...

S & W does not list any .357 Sig in M&P line any longer. I was considering that caliber for my next purchase. But….......

Only always. Never shot without, but so many other stupid things I've done has convinced me of the importance of good eye protection.

Shot with my son, tried his 2 and found that I shot the M&P better and it fit me. bought one and have not looked back.

My two carry weapons are similar, not the same, but very similar in size and grip. Practice with them more than the others. Seems to be working for me.

My old S&W 10-4 that I received from a dear friend. Shooting it reminds me of him and oh so different times.

I have only one large (3500 lbs) for all ammo and guns. Not full yet, but it will take lots to fill it up. This for me is a better solution.
