anyone use grabagun or kyles gun shop.com?

I've purchased from Grabagun three times. I've read plenty of stories about slow shipping, but twice I've gotten the order a day early. I'd never hesitate to recommend them, but my experiences might be vastly different than yours.

Charter Arms Bulldog: My experience so far

My Bulldog wasn't what I was looking for when I bought it, but I couldn't be happier with it, either. It's even better now that I found the TuffProducts speed strips to feed it with. The Haters will be chiming in soon, though...

Ruger LCP or Kel tec p3at?

My P3AT is solid, but when Ruger gets the LCP bugs figured out, I'm sure the differences will only matter to fan-boys of either brand.

    Response from Budsgunshop.com

As has been stated, Bud's is one of the sites I hit every day. Never a problem with any of my purchases. Just hope they can get more of the items on my Wish List in stock. As for some whining about others getting discounts for their services...sounds like one of the biggest problems with this...

    Kudos to Kel-Tec CS

I bought a 2G P3AT from a friend who had problems with it. After perusing the Kel-Tec forums, I found everything I needed to get it running right. I called CS for a replacement ejector, and had it in hand three days later - no charge, no questions asked. Their CS is top notch. Sit tight...

talk me out of a NAA mini revolver

I drop mine in my pocket, loaded with shot shells, when I'm walking out to my barn. I don't expect it to stop a zombie, but I would expect it to turn a nuisance varmint around. I've done stupider things with $175.

    Gunbroker Snipers?

You miss the all-important reason for sniping. I, as a bidder, try to win an auction with the lowest bid I can. A snipe bid isa proxy bid, except it is placed at the last second. As I know that I will get only one crack at an item (in an e-Bay auction), I put in my max bid. I then know that...

    Gunbroker Snipers?

Don't even try to suggest that an online auction is similar to a live auction; they're two completely different animals. Sellers who don't like snipers seem to miss this point: a snipe bid will raise the final selling price of an item, whether the sniper wins the auction or not. Without a...

Most embarassing firearm purchase, experience, etc.

First time shooting in years, went to the range with some friends. I had just got a S&W 9mm Sigma and was really going to town. One friend offered to let me shoot his P3AT, less than half of the S&W's size. Using about the same grip, that Kel-Tec's slide bit me HARD on the knuckle of my thumb...

Buying firearms over the Internet. Your experience.

Bud's and Davidson's Gallery of Guns have both delivered for me; no complaints.

Utah CCW license - still allow non-residents?

The original post mentions "non-resident license". Hence, the "technically" part of my original response. It indeed does not make a difference, unless you are in a state like Florida, which honors the Utah permit if it is your state of residence.

SC Signs with FL and KY

When I trained for my SC permit, I opted to also get the Utah card vs Florida's. A year and a half later, it looks like I made the right guess. Good job, SC!

Utah CCW license - still allow non-residents?

Technically, though they do allow non-residents to acquire their license, Utah does not have a "non-resident" version. Everyone gets the same card.

Suicidal IL Woman Buys Ammunition Without FOID Card--Husband Sues

Just playing devil's advocate here... Substitute the unbalanced woman with a high school senior, and the ammo with a 12-pack of Bud. The teen gets killed driving drunk, and parents sue WallyWorld for not checking the kid's ID. The kid didn't try to kill himself, while the woman obviously did...

Why no love for S&W poly autos?

SW9VE was my first purchased gun. Never had any other autos to compare it to, so nothing was expected (other than trigger pull = bang). A few autos later, and I still love this gun.

    M&P 340 .357 Mag Round Count

I voted < 100, but I haven't been to the range with it lately. I'm looking forward  to breaking my hand in a little more...

Keeping a firearm in the car when I am at work

Like Thumper said. If you can smuggle it into your work area or locker in an inconspicuous fashion (and keep it secure through your work day), that might be the way to go. You still have to decide if your job is worth it, though, if this goes against policy.

    CSI: Miami Gun errors

The one side of me thinks it's "entertainment" (though CSI:Miami stopped entertaining a few seasons ago). The otherside bristles when I realize that a good portion of this nation's population gets its firearms knowledge from programs of this ilk.

    Glock trigger vs. Sigma trigger

My 9mm Sigma has been flawless for the year and a half that I've owned it. You'll hear lots of bashing; some (rightfully) from first gen owners, some from fan-boys, and some regurgitating what they've heard / read. Don't believe everything you read, including this. Track one down and find out...

Nice article the local paper--complete with a plug for THR and a quote from me!

It is an article, per Merriam-Webster: a nonfictional prose composition usually forming an independent part of a publication (as a magazine) But your point is well-taken. Seems like things might be s-l-o-w-l-y tilting that way.
