I don’t shoot many Berger bullets, but just bought some 55gr .224 and was wondering if someone had load data from the Berger manual they could give me. It’s for the 22-250. Thanks
Would one be advantageous when loading for a rear locking bolt action? I have read cases do stretch more. The action in question is Carl Gustav 3000 (Sauer 80)
Loaded up some 52 & 53 Hornady with W748. Also some 40gr Nosler Var HPFB just to see what happens. Don't have any TAC, so will try Varget and Benchmark. Ordered some 69gr SMK.
Should be interesting!
Thanks for the responses. I have some 40gr BT and V-Max, so will give them a try. Will pick up some 69gr and try them as well. I plan on using it for gophers and also punching paper.
Has anyone loaded 129gr Hornady SP in the Swede using modern strong actions? I have a Steyr Mannlicher M and looking for starting load suggestions. Also thinking of trying some 120gr and 140gr BT and 140gr Hornady SP.
