Have a Benelli MP95E that was doing fine then all of a sudden it's having extraction problems. The empty case is stuck half in & out of the chamber, some times the case is sideways, with the action half open. I've changed the return spring and extractor along with cleaning the chamber. Has...
I have a friend in the Canada who has a Beretta 1934 in 9mm. ( he bought in 1963 when he was stationed Cape Town Africa) He was informed by the RCMP and local police that he will have to turn it in for destruction if he can not put a longer barrel on it. It has the original 3 3/8 inch barrel...
A customer brought in an old S&W 67 C 12 gage that was fired with a mud plugged barrel, needless to say the first 3 inches peeled like a banana. I have a new barrel on hand but would like to know if it was threaded with or without any type of thread locker. I can guess I'm headed for some busted...
Mini mill
I have a grizzly mini mill and it does fine for cutting dovetails on 1911 frames , you do have to take small cuts. But I do agree that nothing beats a big mill. I've also cut a few dovetails on muzzle loaders.....low & slow.
Hey Gents,
A Browning BDM came into the shop today for a detailed cleaning, this is the model with the selector on the slide for "pistol or revolver" trigger action.
This has sat in the box for a long time and is a little rusty with a few spots of rock hard dried up grease. This is the...
Barska
:barf: You won't be happy with Barska and it will most likely brake before you finish the box of ammo. If you don't want to drop a lot of $$, I would by a Bushnell simply because they have an over the counter return policy should it brake.
My brother showed me a Remington 572 Field Master, one that I never knew exsisted. The barrel and reciever are a brown/red in color and looks like anodizing and the barrel is made of magnesium. It's super light and in excellant shape. Does anyone have any info on this.
Thanks.

870 hang up
I had a real strange one with a 870 with similar symptoms. It was the RS shell latch/stop jumping out of the guide groove and blocking the next shell from leaving the mag and stopping the action. The shell stop was actually thinner then it was supposed to be and would stick out far...
Lucky
When I bought mine, mid 80's, I sanded down the stocks and then lightly burned in a tiger stripe design and then re stained it. I would see about spare parts for future use because they are rare. They are Fast, Light and Accurate.

Gunkote
Nice recovery on the bolt, man, that was strange. I use KG gunkote A LOT, I use the gear coat for shotgun and M4 bolt carriers and it works great, it may not be the color you want but it works real good.
Good to go
I have two CZ 52's and enjoy them for there durability, the accuracy is OK, it's not the gun but the small sights. The 7.62X25 round is nothing to laugh at
and has a pretty good punch. Some of the ammo on the market is suspect to being over charged. I use only S&B ammo in mine. If...
FoMoGo
My heart jumped when I saw M121. I had one many many years ago and I had to sell it when I got divorced. It, as you know by now, can fire very fast and was banned from import shortly after reaching the US because of their ability to be fired rapidly. Once that happened the SPAS 12 was...
DITTO on FASTBOLT
FASTBOLT, You hit the nail on the head. I attended the Dec armor's course and enjoyed how well taught and prepared the class room was as compared to some other factory courses I've been to. I also like the way they made the frame and sub chassie and the "I" beam extractor...a...
M&p lemon
Here's my take honest take on the M&P. (not said with a attitude)
EVERY ONE makes a lemon once in awhile. Since it first showed up I've been impressed with the M&P for many reasons.
1) Many Law agencies are switching to the M&P hands down.
(2) Many Glock users are very...
