You all are entirely too generous about my LMT---it's a fun shooter and all, but does not hold a candle to some of the rifles prior to and following it. And yes, it did not come with an omega. it now has a Troy MRF-R on it and an aimpoint, and it still doesn't hold a candle to the ones...

It's definitely not cheaper right now as LPKs are insane, stock assemblies are rare and sure customizing it is better with an unassembled lower. For instance...I love ergo grips, and all my ARs have/will have them. And i'm wrong-handed, so ambi safeties are just a great little thing to hold...

There are other quad rails out there that do not require any removal of anything from the gun other than the existing handguards. Daniel Defense Omega 7 or 9.0 will probably mount to your Colt pretty easily. No permanent modifications to the host weapon. It pretty much installs like stock...
