I've loaded 500 180 gr. .40 rounds using Unique powder at 5.4 and 6.0 grains. The first 400 had 4 that didn't fire the first time and 2 failed to eject. The 100 I shot today didn't have any that didn't fire but 4 that failed to eject. I'm putting them through a Glock 22 that has no problem...
I already loaded 200 Winchester Magnum primers into my cases. I realized they were Magnum a little late. Does anybody know how much powder I should put in a case to keep it safer?
Reading a lot of the posts in many forums on this and like sites, I find it to be a sad thing to feel like I do. With that said, I've served this country in the US Navy for almost half of my life. Why is it I have to feel that when I retire from protecting these one way individuals who do not...
This fine AMERICAN can be just the spark needed for law enforcement nationwide to stand up. Maybe if the anti citizens who rely on the police to protect them see that even the police have to fight for their rights, will realize that the government is hurting more that helping this great...
I ended up buying ammo at the gun shop the other night and paid a lot more than I would've at Walmert. Now I can save and have all the ammo I need at any time. I'm tired of buying by the box too. If I want to shoot 500 rnds in 1 trip, than I can and it won't cost me $13 a box of 50.
We finally got it resolved and the Walmart does accept an active duty military id. But the customer service that the manager gave us was unacceptable and we turned around and left. Now anybody that talks about going to walmart around us, we let them know what happened and tell them to find a...
Just got off the phone with my wife and they won't sell ammo to her either, even with utility bills, printed checks and a military id. I need to find out who at Walmart I can call, this is BS.
I guess it wouldn't bother me so much if they asked for Republik of California id from the get go. I've bought my ammo there 3 times before this and a military id was fine. I don't know if they changed their policy within the past week or the group working last night are just the idiots they...
I only have to deal with them a couple more times to get enough brass to start reloading myself. If I was a rich man I'd buy all of my ammo from the gun shop and not ever have to return to walmart.
I live almost on the border to Mexico. There's a lot of Navy down here too. Maybe we scared the ladies at the counter. They did call the manager and he wouldn't accept the military id either. My wife offered to go for us, she doesn't have a California id either but she speaks spanish. I'll...
I'm in San Diego. We went to the store down at the end of Palm Ave. I'm going back today with a couple utility bills and my copy of the gun paperwork and hope the same 2 are working.
I just might do that tomorrow. I'm subscribing to AMERICAN handgunner tomorrow so when it comes in I can bring it down there with me next time. Unfortunately tomorrow I must carry my frikin cable bill with me.
