long shots
If you have to take shots of over 50 yards , then you can' t call very well . Took spring gobbler this year with muzzleloadiing shotgun at 24 yards, if you are going to shoot 50yards or more you might as well use rifle
I have been loading 70gr.s of fff with ounce and half of shot in my 12 ga and it patterns well at 25 and 30 yards. Anything more than 80gr. seems to just blow pattern. Is 70 gr.s enough stopping power at 25 and 30 yards for turkeys?
I got thompson center Pro Hunter with Muzzloading shotgun Barrel and 50 cal barrel. Very impressed with 50 cal. Plan on going Spring Globber hunting with shotgun, any clues on loads for 12 gauge muzzloading shotgun?
