Another Glock about to be ruined.. I see these butchered Glocks for sale all the time. It's heartbreaking..Leave the damn gun alone and adjust to it. I've been shooting for 35 years and have never had to adjust a gun to fit me. If you know how to shoot there is no reason for this destructive fad.
The .45 is the best of the M&P line. Fantastic pistol..Grab one! Also S&W is selling police trade in mags for $15 each.

I feel for you. New York has really gone down the tube. I lived in Massachusetts that has it's own Draconian gun laws. They meant nothing to me when I lived there. The 2nd Amendment was clear to me. The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Massachusetts has unconstitutional laws...
And yes I do realize that Portugal is in the EU but FN moved assembly of the High Power to Portugal because labor is still cheaper there than it is in Belgium!
Slave labor? Not quite. Low wages yes but not slave labor. Then again the cost of living is far less there than in the EU or US. Labor Unions have destroyed America by making nothing affordable! I'll gladly take the high quality guns being made in the Philipines and Turkey over the overpriced...
Cast frames have the lines on the bottom of the magwell like the right hand gun on the picture above. That's the easiest way to tell. The cast frames are stronger than the forged frames. That's why FN went to the cast frame when they started making the .40 versions.
That said, I am still a...
I LOVE the High Power!! But the price these days is way too high! Especially since assembly was sent to Portugal to save money!! My favorite dealer carries them and they are almost $1000 brand new.
If FN wants them to sell then they should send machinery to Turkey and have them made there...
The XDs is a great gun when updated for the recall. I had a .45 and loved it but it slam fired one day after loading a round (scared the crap out of me and cost me a TV). I sold it and a couple of weeks later Springfield issued the recall for the problem. Wish I kept it.
Facebook locked me out for posting something anti Obama. I quit and haven't looked back. Screw them. They are working with Obama to keep tabs on anyone that disagrees with him. They are the Obama Gestapo.
He's talking about the subcompact 1911's. They are well known for not being reliable. Most 1911 experts would recommend not going smaller than a Commander size for the 1911.
ahhh, I never saw the original post...Well, that was a problem gun. I'm sure that Ruger made it right however. The SR series is very good. I love the compact models. I would try the gun out now that it's home before getting rid of it. If you do decide that you no longer like it or trust it then...
I have owned all 3 at one point or another. They are all excellent guns in their own way.
The SIG is usually found in traditional double action. So you need to decide if that is the type of trigger that you want. Also the SIG is a chunky gun for what it is.
The M&P is a great gun but it is...
Am I understanding this correctly? You had one particular round that failed to fire, you kept putting it back into the gun and it continued to fail to fire??? So ONE round of ammo repeatedly failed to fire??? Yet you have determined that the ammo was NOT the problem??? It sounds to me like that...
Accuracy is a funny thing. Odds are that the gun came from the factory being far more accurate than you can shoot...I don't know what model Glock you have but caliber will play a major role in accuracy. Not because one caliber is more accurate than another one but because you may not shoot some...
