.22 LR -- Lack of Availability -- Maybe I'll Just Sell ALL of Mine!!

No way I'd sell it. For your few thousand rounds you get a few hundred dollars. You said you wanted to get another .22LR rifle. Spend a couple/few hundred on a rifle and start shooting up that ammo. If you run out sell the rifle or (preferably) wait out the ammo situation. This seems like...

.22 LR -- Lack of Availability -- Maybe I'll Just Sell ALL of Mine!!

Didn't mean to sound hateful. Just don't get the justification. By all means sell it for what ever you want and make what you can. But it is what it is, profit due to the current situation. Your ammo, your decision. I have no intention of selling any of mine and I don't think I have even...

.22 LR -- Lack of Availability -- Maybe I'll Just Sell ALL of Mine!!

Really? NOOOooo..... Here we go with the same questions that will be followed by the same answers. I'm going back outside where it is 56 F and Sunny here in Georgia!

.22 LR -- Lack of Availability -- Maybe I'll Just Sell ALL of Mine!!

All this excitement over lack of ammo for a caliber you don't even own or seem to have any intention of owning? Scalpers and Gougers are bad for selling ammo at a high price. It's OK for you though since you bought it before the shortage and are fed up. These ammo threads are like a bad...

    EDC Folder and Serrations

Lot's of long posts in this thread so I admit not reading everything. For the $100 price point I really like Benchmade Griptillian or Mini Griptillian depending on what blade length you prefer. No serrations unless you are cutting a lot of rope or something. In that case I'd go with a knife...

    Kahr CM9

Great choice. While I have two Kahrs that work fine I just bought a Shield and so far really liking it. I prefer the M&P trigger to the Kahr.

So much for backordered ammo from midway

I read this like 3 times to not read it as 9 mm. Holy ammo shortage obsession. :banghead:

Where are all the Springfield 1911s?

Sorry man, I try and open the damn every chance I get.

Where are all the Springfield 1911s?

Thats odd. Every local gun store I go to here in Georgia usually has them. They seem available at online stores as well. Try using http://gunwatcher.com/ and check the Stores and the Auctions.

    Happy, Happy, Happy

I could be wrong but I can't imagine that too many watchers are "fence sitters" with regard to gun ownership. Maybe it will cause some to buy a gun they may not have. I have no interest but if it sells some guns for Mossberg, why not.

I'm in the same boat Mike. But .... Their backorder policy will hold the first items for 90 days and then ship.

    Kahr CM9

PM9 and P9 here. No reliability issues. The trigger will be different than what you are used to with the Glock. I've heard of guys on the internet with problematic Kahrs, but I'm yet to see one in real life.

This explains a lot about the 22lr issues

I have a few thousand rounds backordered at Midway. The stuff that had a projected date of 12/31/2013 now just says over due. The 1400 round bucket says June, 2014. I think I have 3k to 4k on the shelf. Daughters and me can go through 300 or more in one range trip.

    Kimber vs Model 70 Featherweight....GO

OK, so I have read some bad reviews over the years on Kimber rifles but seems it may be internet myth. I understand there may have been some issues a few years back but how about now? With Winchester moving it's assembly to Portugal, it's turned me off a bit. The only Featherweights I can...

    Detroit Metro places to shoot

Well, not to go too far down this road publicly but you don't really have a choice if you want to be a legal gun owner. Especially after you get your CPL.

    Detroit Metro places to shoot

You can transport it as long as it's unloaded and in a case or in the trunk. Oh and it has to be yours as in registered with the State Police under your name. P.S. I moved from Michigan last year. Check http://handgunlaw.us if you want to find the actual code.
