This is depressing. I was all pumped to pick one of these up this year until I saw the 1:11.5" twist spec on the site. I look forward to more shooting reviews from 1858.
I would've asked for the hammer swap. Doesn't always mean lots of money. Did you bother to ask what it would entail? Probably be a $10 deal if your hammer is notched.
I can finally join...I hope!
I thought I would never see one. My dealer had this as showing out of stock so he kept a look out for me. 3 months later (last week) I got the call it was in stock and he could order. Of course I said 'yes' and the order was placed. Not too bad for a titch over...
Guys, I'm trying to find a 642 with no internal lock. I have a couple good contacts to go through. My questions is, can anyone purchase a 642 without the internal lock?? I've been told by a source that the 642 without the internal lock is for law enforcement only. This doesn't seem right...
He has a .243 and looking for FACTORY ammo brands. Not sure why reloading advice and other calibers are coming into play.
Sorry Brad, no input as I don't have a .243 yet. Check out http://www.predatormastersforums.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php and post your question there in the firearms...
Great feedback guys. I'm suprised I didn't get a "use the search feature" reply. Maybe I shouldn't be though and need to get myself a wheel gun other than the hertitage .22 6 shooter I have and hang out in this revolver forum more often.
Thanks again, decisions, decisions yet to make!
I'm set on one of the 2 and will have one relatively soon. I need something smaller than my P2000sk for summer carry. I often don't want to carry the P2000sk for the sake of not being able to conceal it completely. I want a gun to pocket carry in a holster and these seem like the ticket...
No pinky on the grip for me as well. Even with the extension as shown in the above pick my pinky gets pinched when shooting and it's uncomfortable. I prefer the flat bottom mags and I let my pinky rest on the bottom side. I have no issues with accuracy and practive this way with it all the time.
Brooks, you may want to check out The Gun Stop located in Minnetonka being you're in the metro area. The so called "sale price" you got at Gander is at or near their normal everyday price.
I voted HK but mostly because I have one and it fits my hands better. 0.10" in thickness may or may not be noticeable to you when concealing. I'm a skinny guy and my SK rides in my VMII very nicely. I just prefer the variant 3 of the HK better than the glock. I like the DA/SA and decocker...
To place the high prices in another context, GM offers a low hourly wage for their store employees. But they get 20% off and some days have a 30% off employee day. But one has to realize that I can get the same prices as their discounts just by shopping at Cabela's where the prices are lower...
You'll find somebody with a problem with their Bushmaster and they hate them.
You'll find somebody with a problem with their RRA and they hate them.

Let me check tonight when I get home. I don't like giving false info and I can't remember off the top of my head. If I forget by tomorrow....PM me on it.
Your criterai is simple enough for any of the AR manufacturers to meet. Just go out and buy the one that you think has the neatest logo and a detachable carry handle for unlimited scope options.
I'm not really joking either. They're a simple piece of equipment that function flawlessly if...
