    Polymer AR-15 lower receivers

Recoil transfers from the upper to the lower. If there is a gap between the upper and lower at the buffer tube extension, then the transfer puts stress on lower causing a problem. If it is tight, then it is just a spacer and really should not wear or stress the lower. I would trust the...

    brand new AR jamming issues

There could be a few things going on, it could just need a little more break in time, but with the low profile gas block, there could be a problem there with the alignment. It may be best to take off the handguard and check for leaks, and to check it for alignment.

    palmetto state stripped AR lowers

A manufacturer can have a variance to manufacture for another company but they still should take care of any imperfection... or tell you the manufacturer so you can take the issue up with them.

Why use a Semi-Auto for Deer?

IMO using a bolt action or a semi auto, is up to the person hunting, and the laws that apply. The bolt action just takes a little longer to reload for a second shot.

    Need help ASAP!!! Stuck patch!

I would say to do a visual on the chamber, then inspect a used cartridge for scratches etc, close the bolt on the used brass, and inspect it again when it is extracted for scratches etc... you could also use a piece of cloth and wipe it in the chamber to feel for scratches...

    AR Trigger Upgrades, Worth it?

Best idea is to tinker with your standard trigger, springs only... lighten it up a little and see if you like the results. If it improves your groups and you want to spend the money, a two stage trigger will do the trick. My theory has been, you could mount the hubble on your rifle and the...

223 Bullet weights for 1:7 twist

OK... There are many factors to consider when choosing barrel twist rates. 1. Length of barrel 2. type of barrel steel ie 4140, 4150 3. chrome moly vs chrome lined 4. type of ammo .223 ( 55k chamber pressure ) 5.56mm ( 62k chamber pressure ) 5. projectile weight 6. propellant used (...

    AR-15 Temporary "Gapper" Alternative?

Black Silicone to fill it in, and some tape to make it slick. The chance of you taking the trigger guard out are pretty slim. Bring some extra material just in case, and when you get the chance order the gapper or similar product. It's funny they never make too many pistol grips that address...

    Question about ar-15 lowers:

Charles Daley is no more from the last time I knew. DoubleStar lowers do not have the same manufacturing stamp on the sides anymore by the latest photo I can tell from. So I am not sure if LRB is the only one they make them for now or not.

Woe is me, for my A1 receiver cannot be removed.

Not sure why he tried to remove the flash hider and front sight base, but depending on the handguard, removing the handguard, and gas tube is all one really needs to do to change the upper receiver. Of course some proper tools are required but should be a pretty simple project.

    Unfinished AR15 Lower

It's really not that difficult pending the type of unfinished lower you choose. Some without the buffer tube area finished, can be an issue to align the tube properly, but you can judge that when you look at the many unfinished lowers that are offered. I know of quite a few that finished them...

I dont think the Fanboys are gonna like this

Bushmaster has produced a fine product over the years, the craftsmanship and staff made the rifle into a name brand that will last for years to come. With the staff now producing another brand name, I am sure they will prove to produce a fine product. I wish them the best with the new brand...
