I guess I'm confused about the plated bullets. Why load a plated .45acp bullet that cost $100. per thousand when you could load a FMJ bullet at the same cost?

I want a TC II so bad. Maybe one day but right now I'm enjoying my Pro Carry II and Custom II. The Custom II has a 3.5# trigger job that feels pretty sweet.

The walnut is for tougher to clean cases and will leave a dull finish on the brass. The corn cob media will clean your standard non-tarnished cases and will leave more of a shiny finish to the brass.
Lots of places to get the corn cob (treated or un-treated) over the net such as Grafs...
Not sure what oal you are using but if your not trying to meet a specific power factor, you can drop that load down to about 3.6 to 3.7 for a sweet shooting "pet load".
BTW be careful of that FC brass in .40. It has a tendency to be pretty weak.
