HankB: are you in Austin? I have no idea what time warner is doing in Austin. I went to UT and i really missed watching old reruns of American Shooter. Here's the crazy thing. the basic time warner cable package in Houston carries OLN!!! I really gotta wonder who made the decision...

    Crazy Situtation

holy moly I agree with the poster that suggested Far West. Heck, West Campus is a utopia compared to what you're dealing with down there. Hopefully you'll be able to get this resolved. then you need to get the hell out of dodge.

    !@#$% Clinton!

The 5% value is by no means law. But a space program rarely ever just involves building a spaceship and training astronauts. The truth is we really have no idea how much china is really spending for their space program. Estimates from American news sources put it at a paltry 3 billion dollars...

    !@#$% Clinton!

hmm gotta delurk for this one... Make no mistake, the United States is at war with China. Business is War It's a war that we are losing quite handily. Anyone that thinks otherwise is deluding himself. All nations are adversaries. It's that simple. American companies are at war...

S.W.A.T. (all you need to know)

People you wouldn't expect to find at the range

I'm mostly surprised at the amount of asians at the gun ranges. I'm an EE student and I can tell you that a lot of students are interested in shooting guns. but wanting to do and actually doing are very different things. Guns are an expensive hobby...

Finally saw a Hi Point in person

The base 9mm compact doesn't look that bad. The ugliness comes in with the incredibly hokey "compensator" and the "extended" magazine. Also if they straightened the foward part of the grip a little instead of the ergonomic(?) grooves they have...at any rate, it couldn't hurt. It kinda...

Best games out right now that involve guns...

For pure multiplayer mayhem, Counter-Strike is hard to beat. Look soon for the next patch which will add a Riot Shield(!), the Galil, and the FAMAS...that's the rumor anyway. If you don't mind the cheesyness then Soldier of Fortune 2 is pretty good. The AI is downright evil on that one...

    BulletProof Monk... Desert Eagles..

Yeah me too. My folks are from Hong Kong But there's as many dialects of Cantonese as there are bullet calibers. I practically can't understand my grandma and supposedly she speaks cantonese. Although I have to say it does look wierd for Chow Yun Fat to have Desert Eagles instead of...

    BulletProof Monk... Desert Eagles..
