Hey Jim 100... I have to say that you may need to be a little more pro-active when it comes to guns/info and the law. The question you posed is readily available from a host of sources. You will find that especially when it come to law, you had best be checking things out for yourself. The...
Just voted, (don't remember the stats), but it'll be interesting to see just what happens with the poll results. I fear that most polls are for 'feel good' voters anyway. If the politicians really cared about and listened to their constituents this country would not be in the mess it is now!
K40 for several years... Shoots great, absolutley 100% reliable with over 1500 rounds through it. I've fired just about every brand of ammo available locally with zero problems.

As already posted, some of the polymer framed guns have experienced a few problems. To my knowledge, (and personal use), the steel framed versions are ultra reliable and good shooting. I love my DOA trigger pull on my K40. Smooth and the same pull shot to shot.
Also may want to check http://www.gunbroker.com. Haven't sold there but have bought a few. I'm thinking about selling my Remmington 700ML and for what I want for it, my advertising cost would be <$6.
SAM1911 hit it on the head. Even if carrying, shooting would not be in your best interest. Here in MI, you can only shoot in defense of great bodily harm. Crimes of property have no bearing... Again like SAM1911 said, short of being able to restrain the BG, you had the best possible outcome...
Great idea, but when opening the attachment all I got was a blank page. I'm looking for a lighter summer carry gun and this would have been nice to check out. Let me know if you are able to get it posted.
Makes one wonder why the original owner's' traded it in. I've often wondered about that when buy a used gun. I find it very hard to part with one once I've bought it. The exception to this were 2 Bersa's that had continual FTF issues. Then again, somebody probably ended up buying them used...
Well at least Ted doesn't beat around the bush on how he feels! Maybe not the most polically correct, but he gets his point across. Thanks for the vid.
I've found that I've been setting up two targets, at staggered ranges, 12' and maybe 18'. Start out drawing and doing double taps in an effort to hone my response time and target acquisition. I don't do any bulls eye plinking until I'm comfortable with my level of skill on the first excersise...
Can't comment on the T40, but do own and carry the K40. Absolutely love it. 100% reliable, as well as accurate. Only down side is the weight but that comes with the territory when going with a steel frame. I have no issues at all with the recoil. Practice rounds are the W/W 180 gr, (if...
Kahr K40. It may lack in the rounds carried area, (6 + 1 with standard mag), but being all steel with the rubber grips it is a fine handling weapon. Recoil has not been an issue for anyone shooting mine. Smooth trigger right from the box.
I'm actually surprised I'm the first to mention a Kahr.
I've done no testing of it but the theory seems sound. Plus the idea of better/more reliable feeding in autos that may have a problem with JHP's. I've got them in my K40. Pretty high velocity as well.
Good luck. Keep us informed how it turns out.
The company I work for forbids any weapon, even kinves ON COMPANY PROPERTY! Right now this forces me to drive home to pick up my muzzle loader to go deer hunting after work. Wastes a good 40 minutes, plus the extra fuel. Got 25+ years with...
