Mec I know Pietta don't make a Walker pistol, I was just being a smart a$$. But I shouldn't have to buy a new handspring or any other part to fix a NEW gun out of the box. Gun makers need to do a better job of QC of the products they make.

I once had a Uberti Walker. I got it mail order and it had a broken hand spring right out of the box. So back it goes to the dealer, guess what. I get the same Walker back for a replacement. Now I am Pi$$ed. Again back it goes for a refund. Should have got a Pietta.

Got a Cabela's about 50 miles away in Utah. I will call them to see if they have black powder. I know about Powderinc, But don't want to pay hasmat fees.

Thanks, for the replys. Yes my 1859 sharps is a percussion breach loader. I was going to use a bp priming charge in a paper cartridge with APP or triple 7. I do have a small amount of 3f bp, but I can't find any black powder locally. So that why I want to use black powder sub's.

I have a 1859 Pedersoli Sharps Does anyone use black powder substitutes in this rifle, American Pioneer, Pinnacle, Triple 7 or Pyrodex besides Black Powder ? I will be using a Rapine 544475. Any loading data?

I want to change out the nipples in my Pietta .31 Remmie pocker pistol. I want to use TRM nipples. But looking at them, they are shorter than my TRM nipples for my Pietta Colt 1860. What size TRM nipples do I use ?

Got a Uberti Walker from Midway. It came with a broken handspring. Sent it back and got the same one back from them. So I ask from a refund. They are big and heavy. I think there are better black powder pistol models. I like the Colt 1860's . Also I have had good luck with Pietta. Just my 2 cents.

I order a Walker from Midway. When I received my Uberti Walker, the cylinder wouldn't index, with the cylinder spinning both ways. Bad handspring. Back to Midway it went. Just received the replacement, Guess what, Midway sent the same Walker back to me (same serial #). So I got a refund. Should...

If you want a cylinder loader stand , I got one from Dick Dasterdly's web site. It works like a champ. I use it for my colts and remmies.

You can get a loading tool from VTI Gun Parts. I got mine for ten bucks, plus shipping.
