    tokarev ammo

Almost forgot. you can reform .223 cases to fit both Tok and Broom handle. You really need a small lathe or another way to cut them short. I've done this to hundreds and no problem, use a .32 call mold but cast with linotype or they will keyhole with soft lead.

    tokarev ammo

The round was designed in Germany and impressed the Russians so much they used it for the PPSH machine gun. Very high velocity and able to penatrate. Toks really blast a fireball and I love them. I would say your broom handle just needs the full power that it was designed for, it's just not...

Why don't they make new Broomhandle Mausers?

I am so old that I can remember when "Ye olde hunter" in Alexandria had them for about $20. They also had a Nambu for $10. I passed because bullets were a little hard to find. Stupid me thought that they would always have plenty of surplus stuff coming in. At least I bought several Remington...

best way to clean a muzzleloader

I am a member of the North, South skirmish Association. There are many opinions on what to use. Basically, water with soap, (Murphy's oil soap is very popular), I use dollar store window cleaner. It has alcohol, ammonia, and soap. I have a home made rack to hold the gun level and just spray some...

If armed intruders are on your doorstep, do you have to wait for them to enter?

I would suggest that you turn out the lights. You know your way around your own home and they will have outside light behind them making for a good target.

To Berkley The barrel lug has a spring loaded catch so that it will stay in the gun

    My $265 ROA

I assume that you will protect the nipples some how with out pounding them into mushroom shape. Short sections of hard rubber tube slightly longer than the nipples will work. Never dry fire a percussion revolver.

Why Not Registering Your Guns is a Mistake

I live in Virginia. I couldn't register a gun if I wanted to.

    fff powder

3f powder That's all I use for my 45/70 Sharps. Use a drop tube for best results. I still have to pack the powder down in the loading press. There is a lot of reloading info on the net for 45/70.

    1895 Nagant Revolver Club

1931 Tula Really fun pistol. I shorten .223 shells and reform them in a .30 carbine die which leaves a belt near the rim that must be removed on a small lathe. This actually leaves enough rim to function very well.

    Homemade Training Gun

How about buying a clear plastic water pistol and splitting it down the middle. Take some modeling clay to weight and stick it back together. What could they say?.

Even the liberal media gets it

"Hunting and sporting weapons" Why are they weapons? They are just shotguns or rifles until they are used as weapons. Are hammers and screwdrivers weapons before they are used as such?

Checking the buyer without the gun. I could buy that.

ID I second Capnmac's idea Simply mark the drivers license with a yes or no for gun ownership. Might take a couple of years to cycle through the lifespan of a license. If you lose your right the card is void and called in.

ALL prior service were trained to use full auto m16's with high cap magazines

Navy vet 1968,69 in Nam. We shot a .22 in boot camp and that was it for firearms training. I owned .45s and several rifles at the age of 15, I'm sure I was more qualified than my sorry officers.

Only Military and Police should have guns

Having been in the Navy in 68-69, let me say that our firearms training was the biggest joke ever. Five shots from a bolt action .22 at no target. Should we have been trusted with a real gun?
