What loads were you shooting. The reason I ask is I had Mossberg PG Persuader and high brass 00 buck shot was quite painful. Not alot of fun at all. I also tried 3" 00 and that was pretty miserable.

If you've got the money and you are interested you should try a set of hogue wrap arounds. They are excellent and I have them on mine.
