    FBI Selects Glock. What model?

Cops like Glocks as they are simple, just point and pull. Wonder if they will have the narrower slide like the 41 ? With all the ladies now in the ranks, they had to reduce the recoil so they could handle them, thus the 9mm. Also bigger mag capacities so they can spray and pray.

Swapping bolt carrier groups between AR15 uppers

Prior to vacationing in Viet Nam in 1969, the Air Force had everyone take a refresher course on the M16 at Hamilton AFB, CA. They stressed that all parts could be interchanged between rifles, except the bolts. I still follow this practice after 47 yrs of ARs.

    Century CETME C308 or 1903a3?

I have owned 3 "Century" products, and was not happy with any of them. Currently feeding an Armalite AR-10. More money, but definitely worth it. Nothing at all wrong with 03A3s. Love them

    Cooling a barrel

When doing load development or fun shooting, I always take 2 rifles. Shoot a group with one then switch to the other for another group. Beats sitting there watching the clock.

Keeping loading press in a garage

I think that most presses are set up in garages or sheds. Your keeping powder and primers in a climate controlled area is a good decision. The best way to prevent corrosion on yourl tools is to use them on a regular basis.

    CCG vs Target gun

Whatever you decide to carry, become familiar with and have confidence in it. Practice with it, use the loads you plan to carry, rotate your mags, and keep fresh ammo. Hope you never need it, but stay prepared.

    Case Gages/Chamber Checker

I never check every round, only when setting up the dies and at the start of a reloading session.

    X-Treme Bullets first impressions

Xtremes do very well in both my 9mms and 45s. Cheap shooting without the cast bullet labor of love.

    Question about case sizing

After I "stuck" a few loaded rounds in my DPMS 308 AR I started using a RCBS small base die. This works great in the AR-10 rifles. I separate the brass by head stamp so only the normal FL sized brass goes to my bolt actions.

Of All of Your Hanguns, Which Is Your Minimal Level of Comfort for SD?

Hard decision as I own more than a few handguns. I guess the Charter Arms Bulldog, easy to carry concealed, lightweight and the 44 Spl makes a fair sized hole.

Question about Remington trigger recall/class action suit

Rather than go thru the hassle of returning my 700s to Remington, I just replaced the triggers with Timneys. Problem solved.

    Ruger Mini-14 or Mini Thirty?

Check the barrel on the mini 30. They were originally .311, but at some point changed to .308. Ruger can advise of the changeover point. Correct bullet diameter can improve performance.

    454190 bullet?

A swaged lead bullet will be softer than most cast bullets. Stick with milder loads.

Old school reloading manuals. Which ones to buy?

I collect the older manuals, and learn a lot from them. Suggest that you use the most current data available, as I think lawyers are now writing them. Seriously, current data uses new powders and more precise pressure measurements.
