Just picked up an N frame 28-2. Shot it the other night and it's shooting about 2" high at 8 yards with both .357s and .38s (158 gr). This is with the adjustable rear all the way down.

That little wear stripe under the serial # is perfectly normal. All USPs (the P2000 is a modernized USP) have this wear. Many have it before even being sold.
That is definitely true. I am also into home theater and like to frequent Blu-ray/HD-DVD forums and I can't count how many times I have seen a thread titled: "I was in Best Buy today and you'll never believe what the salesman said about Blu-ray" or similar.

I'm surprised that they haven't already made one as many people have reported success by putting a 20 slide on a 21 SF frame. I think you just need to mod the mags to work with the ambi mag release and then they function fine.
Another interesting point to consider is that you can have a SBR without having to register it. It simply cannot have a butt-stock (an AK pistol for instance). So, in essence, the law forces the unregistered SBR (classified as a handgun) to be even more concealable.
I voted for the USPc 40. I have one and it is a great gun. You mentioned quality and HK makes the highest quality polymer guns.
It also must fit your hand since you have shot one and didn't rule it out.
