2) In Virginia a "no firearms" sign has no legal weight and if you are caught the only LEGAL recourse a business has is to ask you to leave.

Negligent maybe. Foolish yes. Why do you carry a gun? Is your auto mechanic shop your safe zone so you don't need protection there? If the shop is robbed or some deranged unsatisfied customer comes back, what good is your gun in the car in the maintenance bay?

1. Keep shooting.
2. Get permission from the owner.
3. Find another place, just in case.
4. Have the radio station switch to easy listening (nice and quiet).
