    LCP II Pocket Holsters

I don't know anything about the sticky holster, but I don't like any pocket holsters with an open bottom like the Nemesis. In my experience the gun works it way down into that open end and out the holster comes with the next draw. While you may find it too thick for your liking, I haven't found...

    RIP RC Model sad news

I haven't been here for awhile, but the news of RC's passing is saddening and he will certainly be missed. Prayers for his family sent from Texas.

    Transition To Carry At Home

This, but my reload is another handy gun. I'm always surprised by the amount of "If I felt threatened in my home I'd move" comments and the like. I'm way out in the sticks and don't feel threatened at all. In fact, I don't feel threatened in town or anywhere else for that matter. But I carry in...

    7 shot snubbie question

I don't know if the OP's wife is planning on pocket carry, but at 28+ oz. I wouldn't consider the Taurus to be much better at that role. http://www.taurususa.com/product-details.cfm?id=260&category=Revolver

Where do you rank the 38 snubby as far as a defensive weapon

First I've seen it, but that link should be a sticky.

    The itch strikes again...

I love my G26 and 19, but can't imagine not having a 642/442 to shove in my pocket on the way out the door. In an Uncle Mike's #4 my old 642 just disappears. I also can't get behind the .380's for defense, but that's just my pair 'o pennies for what it's worth.

Recommended any 9mm revolver you knew.

To WC145 and Brian Williams - I'd be interested to hear your observations concerning POA/POI firing 9mm through guns originally designed for 38 spec.

    Speed Six Holster

Sanity prevailed, and I decided to go with the holster offering better coverage to protect the Speed Six. Here's the Sourdough Pancake with 1.5" loops from Simply Rugged along with a new belt from Aker. Not shown is a nice matching belt pouch/speed strip carrier. Order to door from SR was just...

    My New EDC

Very nice rig there! I thought I recognized the maker's name so I did a search to jog my memory. Turns out I have a photo of one of his holsters saved on my computer from a thread on the 1911 forum. Josh Ashman does make some fine leather.

    Speed strip carrier

Which is why I also suggested it. :D I just received a Simply Rugged sourdough pancake and ammo pouch in basketweave for my Speed Six. Shipping to my door was just short of three weeks. The pouch holds seven rounds of .38/.357. Six in a strip plus one next to it or five in a strip for the...

    Speed strip carrier

Clips seem to come unclipped just about the time you don't want them to. The "flap" on an ammo pouch does a fine job of keeping things in line. Simply Rugged makes a nice ammo pouch, and they're in your area.

Wife wants J frame Smith w/X,X,X. Which one??

In bold lies the first problem. Why do these guys keep pushing the light little revolvers on first timers and women? "It's so little, cute and easy to hide." What they should be telling them is that it's not a gun for beginners. It just may sting your hand, smack your knuckle and you'll never...

Reflections on the Charter Arms .44 Special

Your M36 photo jogged my memory a bit. I bought a set of NOS Shooting Aces for my Undercover a few years ago, stuck them in a box and completely forgot about them until now. The search is on.

Reflections on the Charter Arms .44 Special

Congrats C&L. I like the old style walnut grips you have on your BullDog. I run the same on my old Undercover. They do have a nice feel to them. Pretty sure I'm going to spring for a new Classic in the near future. Guess I'll have to look for another set.
