I shoot a stock 10-22. It hates the Remington as well but shoots Federal very consistently. It's all I shoot now. They also cycle very well through my buckmark.
Between THOSE two: fit, finish, feel. Whichever you "like" best. They'll both run great when you need 'em. You have the luxury of going for coolness factor with those two choices.
I trimmed back some 22-250 brass and around the case neck they are "sharp", actually the trimmed brass has kind of a Ridge around it. Should I just use a metal file and do the best I can?
If you like the AR platform and live in a state which doesn't allow rifle cartridges such as .308,.223,6.8 etc it might be something to consider. Do we really want to try to figure out if you "need" it?
Beautful. Couldn't have said it better mgkdrgn. First rule of a gun fight is to have a gun. But if your going to carry you should be "condition yellow" and know how to use it. You must train. How many ftf's have you dealt with "on the clock"? Being confused in a gun fight is not good. Ever shoot...

Just over the border in Indiana there's a .22 match on Saturday morning. Check out http://www.NPCCC.net Its open to the public. Ive shot it before and it's a lot of fun. I think it's only $5 to shoot pistol and rifle. Round count is around 200. No I don't work there.
On my Lee paper that came with reloading dies it says MAXIMUM OAL should be 2.35 in. But when you look at the load data it has MINIMUM OAL as 2.40 in. for my particular load. What gives?
Midway USA has 2000 .223 brass from Win. for $383 in stock but the Rem is out of stock at$410. Is the win cheap stuff? Should I just order Rem and wait?
Thanks,
Kirk
