    CZ 452 Varmint Problems?

I bought mine about 2 weks ago and love it, zero complaints. It ffeds all the ammo I have tried perfectly. I added the Brooks spring kit to it and the trigger pull is right at 12oz. I am using it at rimfire matches so it works great!! Martin

    Savage or CZ

I have shot both, I believe the CZ is a much nicer gun than the Savage. For $15 in the CZ I have gotten the trigger in both of mine to 12oz with no creep using Eric Brooks trigger kit. I have 2 of the Varmints, 1 in 22lr and 1 in 17HMR. They will shoot just as well and in my experience better...

My Savage 110 in full camo.

It was very scary to get started, but once I got rolling it was hard to stop.. I used 4 colors, (black, tan, brown, od green) Krylon Camo spray cans. I used painters tape and masked ofF random areaas all over the rifle to be used as shadows later. I then wrapped the rifle with "Jute" twine (most...

My Savage 110 in full camo.

So far it has been shooting great. I still need to do some fine tuning and spend some more time shooting it, as soon as it warms up some.. Martin

My Savage 110 in full camo.

Well I finally got the nerve up to camo paint of of my Savage rifles. This one is a 10FP-LE2, 308. These are the best pics I could get, everything outside is covered in a layer of ICE. I used Krylon Camo paint and covered that in Aluma-hyde(?) epoxy matte clear. Everything worked great except...

    Savage .300 WinMag

Here is my Savage 110FP in .300WM. I picked the new base rifle up cheap, then changed the stock and added a nice scope. The way she sits now I have only about $700 in it... It is accurate almost to the point of being boring.. Well, not really, but it is a blast to shoot.. Martin

What kind of hoops did you have to jump thru for your CCW?

Went to the local couthouse and picked up the paperwork, filled out the application. Then I met with a local deputy to shoot, after shooting only 15 rounds he said "Thats all I need to see". We then swapped guns and did some more shooting. I then took the app. and the paper from the deputy...

Who makes a decent priced 1 1/2" gunbelt?

I just bought 2 from "Michaels of Oregon". They are their "Mirage" line, looks like nice leather, but are an imitation. They are 1 1/4" and in brown, 2 different finishes and are holding up very nice and sturdy. I paid $20 a piece for them and have been very pleased. Martin

    Current daily carry

concerned citizen / Tekna I bought the Tekna knife shown in the early '80s. I have 5 different knives that they produced. The knife is about 3/16" thick. You open it by pressing and sliding the oblong button seen on the top face of the knife with your thumb. It locks in both the open and closed...

    Desert Eagle .44 Mag

For the DE, you use standard .44 mag ammo. The same as for revolvers. As long as it is jacketed. Martin

SOme questions on the Desert Eagle

The DE's are not what I would consider "A gun for a beginer". I love mine, it is great to shoot and super accurate! They can be fin iky about how you grip them, because of the way the mag "floats" in the well. As for cleaning it, I use the same stuff as for everything else, I do spray them down...
