Maybe the buyer is just using this to filter bad sellers. I would think that a seller would not provide if they felt it was stolen. If the numbers are provided the buyer feels more comfortable but does nothing with them. It might just be a bluff.

Yes we both are conditioned very well. The problem I am experiencing is that when he was 3 or 4 we could hunt a very hard 8 hours straight but now he can only go about 5-6 hard and then tends to drag just a little. The problem is if I leave him behind he just goes crazy that he is not hunting.

My preference is a 26" for 12 ga and 28" for 20ga. A side note, it seems that 24" hurts on the resale.

I guess I do not understand why more people dont buy the Beretta 391 new for $550 or a used Benelli M-1 for $600 compared to something similar to Spartans. It would seem you could get your money back out of a Beretta or Benelli a lot easier if you wanted something better down the road.

I think in Iowa you can shoot any animal any time if it is detrimental to your property. Something to that effect. For example a fox eating your chickens. It would make since if a rabbit is eating your garden you can plunk him. But that logic may not work since you can not shoot deer that...

I do not know if you could do any better than an remington 870 wingmaster. I would shy away from any 3 1/2 gun as I feel they are unnecessary.
