I'm heading there in a week and a half. Provided nothing changes in the next few days, it looks like I will be able to carry from Corolla to Cape Lookout with no problems.
Correct?
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it is no longer there. They have moved to Jarvisburg and have 24 acres of farmland. They're pushing more sustainable and organic foods along with their beer and crafts. I heard the Bavarian decor was not kept. A real bummer. A visit to the Weeping Radish...
Colt Anaconda, .45 Colt, 4"bbl. Had my choice of that and a Colt King Cobra in ..357mag. I chose the King Cobra. Little did I know the .45 Colt Anaconda is the rarer of the two and commands a higher price.
The asking price did not reflect much of a difference.
Such is life.
Hi all,
My grandfather has a JC Higgins Model 100 side by side 12ga. On the top of the right barrel it reads "Fabrica Aguirre y Araanzabal - Made in Spain" Above the left barrel it reads "J.C Higgins Model 100 Sears Roebuck and Company" And, in the middle it says "12 Gauge - 2 3/4"...
I don't want to sound rude but, what does the definition of a straw purchase have to do with what this thread is about; what Nancy Pelosi said?
I don't think her comment has anything to do with her desire for re-election. We do remember which district she represents, right? The NRA has given...
For the folks that have been CCW with this in place, how well is it holding up? Is it safe to assume you are not finding yourselves needing to reapply it once every week or two.....
What I Prefer
Hoppe's #9 or Elite. I've used both and find them to be just fine. The Elite is more expensive but your bride won't kick you out due to the smell, like #9.
Foaming Bore Cleaner. Quick, simple and for me, it does the job on copper.
For lubrication? Dave Berryhill's Gun Lube...
I'll second the EGW oversized firing pin stop. It will require fitting. And, it is the design the pistol was originally given. Horse mounted cavalry complained it was difficult to rack the slide with the hammer down, so a more distinct bevel was made. That method has stuck, for whatever reason...
I would guess in the $500 range. You can always see what they're going for on Gunbroker.
I got a mint, 6", no dash 586 at Gander Mtn in October 2006 for $319.99. I'm guessing it was wrongly priced; Gander Mtn. never has deals like that, especially for an essentially new revolver!
I am wondering the same.
What say you Tuner? Clean normally after the third Berryhill Ultimate Lube application and go back to your original oil (CLP, FP-10, Rem-Oil...whatever) for 10,000 rounds (approx)?
Their ammunition prices have skyrocketed. I certainly don't order that from them anymore. $14.49 for a box of 50 9mm WWB? That's on par with Gander Mtn. prices.
Metal prices have certainly dropped, but supply, and demand has changed since the election. They certainly seem to be taking...
