Buying handloads, are there safety issues?

I will buy re-manufactured ammo from only one source at local gun shows. He has his name, address and FFL License Number on each and every bag of ammo he sells and can tell you exactly what components are in his ammo, and he also velocity/POI tests to develop good loads. I have fired quite a...

Carry options for a guy with Dunlapped syndrome.

As a fellow FRG (fat round guy) I can empathize with your plight! Try a pocket holster like the Pocket Max from El Paso Saddlery (www.epsaddlery.com). I carry a J-Frame Mod. 60 in mine-maybe a bit smaller than I would like to carry, but I think it will get the job done!

    Shoulder holster vertical carry

If you don't need a concealment holster check out the "1942" from El Paso Saddlery (www.epsaddlery.com). Makes a good field holster. They also have horizontal-carry shoulder systems if you change your mind about vertical carry.

Regolith-I believe if you take a closer look, the barrels are maybe only an inch or two longer than the fore end-perhaps 14" or so. I use a Rossi Coach Gun w/20" barrels for my Cowboy Action Shooting, and the barrels of Mackleroy's (Peter Fonda's character) sure look a lot shorter-maybe the...

3:10 To Yuma Remake--possibly not horrible

Also-anyone notice Peter Fonda's sawed-off shotgun (dumb question)? Looked like no simple chop job-the space between the barrels has been filled and a bead installed. Handy little alley cleaner!

3:10 To Yuma Remake--possibly not horrible

3:10 to Yuma Saw the movie-loved it! As for the rifle, it is a Colt Revolving Rifle similar to the ones first issued to Berdan's Sharphooters in the Civil War. Never saw one with a scope before-dramatic license, I guess.

    Hunting/backpacking holster

El Paso also makes Flap Holsters if you don't mind the added bulk of the flap.

    What are good 22LR Revolvers

.22 Revolver H&R-great value! I have a Model 904, swing-out cylinder, slab-sided bull barrel, nice adj. sights. The DA is HEAVY but smooth, SA letoff is target grade! Nine shots, easy to reload, cost me around $200 or so. I also like my Ruger SS convertible-for snakes you can use the .22...
