Okay, I have a bit more info on this elusive rifle. It is indeed marked G. W. Curry, but it is a .243 instead of a .250. It's marked a Model 98 and has the number 9507, which I assume is a serial no., stamped on it. Any guesses?

I have a Smith 1076 and I wouldn't take for it. 10mm is by far my favorite auto caliber. It usually turns a few heads at the range, too.
