Bad experience at a gun shop

Yes. Ooops. The several times a year I see one, he is with the Democrat State Party, or the UAW national headquarters team. Both hate everything that is not far left. Our local Beth (the temple?) closed a few years ago. As for clothing choices, that is the best way to judge people...

Bad experience at a gun shop

    1. Yes. Judgments have to be made based on how people chose to dress. Around these parts the folks who dress like that bat for the far left team. 2. I forgot what yarmulkes were called.

What is the most stupid thing you saw somebody do with a weapon in the military?

National Guard MP unit. I have been there for a year after getting out of the Corps. They announce that we are turning in all our A1s for A2s, and none of the old ammo will work in the A2s (Mostly true). Only about 50 guys show up for the drill weekend at the base with the range because it...

Bad experience at a gun shop

They may have thought it was a set up. The jews I have known in the midwest who wore a jewish hat were either believers around yom kipper, or were ultra feinstein/kennedy drones who would kill themselves if anyone else of the far left wing of the party or israel wanted them to. I would not...

Dumbest thing you heard/saw in a Gun Store or at the range.

No kidding. I was a winger in the late 80s/early 90s and they kept saying it wasn't enough rifle for a rabbit. How times change.

NRA cuts secret deal with the dems to ban buyers

Just heard it on the news. All states will put all mental health records into the federal system. The VA will keep submitting vets health records. The dems agreed that in return vets reported as having stress and state people with minor offenses can petition to be allowed to own guns. I...

Have you ever seen a bad review in a gun magazine?

Two. Sigma (the first version) back when the felt problem became too widespread to cover up, and the Double Eagle Mark I when the trigger, chamber, and grip panel issues all came out at once.

What clever little things have you "invented or discovered" that you can share?

I did not think of it myself.... but with walnut media put half a paper towel in the tumbler every few loads and it gets a lot of the dust out with it when you pull it back out after the cases are clean.

I guess watching Full Metal Jacket 3 times yesterday got to me....

MOS 2102 and 2120 are Warrant/LDO only jobs. Those are the third and fourth best gun jobs (supervising fixing guns) Second best job is range officer, 9925, a warrant who has been a PMI and small arms instructor while enlisted. The best job is 0306, the gunner, who is the top of the heap...

    Another 38 spl thread.

Trailboss has taken over the light lead .38 role from WST on my bench. I used to like WST for that role. As a plus, it takes up about half the free space in the case even with puff loads.

What is with all of this hype with High Capacity Magazines?

Miller decided that sawed off were not army guns, because it was a one sided case. The prisoners were already freed and the NRA was still too pro-gov to show up instead of them, so the only party to the case was the .gov, who lied about the .mil use of sawed off shotguns.

Dumbest thing you heard/saw in a Gun Store or at the range.

My club has about 1800 members. I, personally, have seen people walk down range to change a target while others are shooting several times. I also saw a man send his son downrange to put up a target, pull his rifle out of the case, and scope on on the kid. I challanged him to put the gun...

    Trailboss Powder

1.4gr of Trailboss takes the same volume as 4.4gr of Titegroup. Plus it looks like donuts. Which is good because the cans look similar. That is all.

*embarassed* Is there a "special trick" for prepping small-caliber Otis patches?

You have the choose the position of the "fold" looser. It will make sense when you are doing it.

    Funny woman shooting story

A friend, a woman, is taking the ccw license class. Her hubby got her a Smith 642 for her purse. However, the class requires 100 rounds. We went for a practice session for the class, I offered my full weight pocket 38, my full size .22 auto, my wife offered her .22 ultralight .22 purse...

A student in Detroit needs some advice

Down by the DMC? Not a lot of metal detectors at Wayne State, you could run dirty on campus with a small pocket gun.
