Mine couldn't be better too. I have about 1500 rds through mine all gone through just fine. I like the trigger pull I have established and can handload both mags by hand. I love it
My wife and I had a good day at the range today. Together we fired 100 rds of winchester 115gr fmj and a 100 rds of remington 115gr fmj and a few win. 147gr jhp for good meaure and all without a hitch. I am very pleased with the recoil for the size of the gun and all the casings ejected with no...
Ok, well lastnight I disassembled the gun and gave it a really good cleaning. I tried loading it again, and the round still gets hung up but I can always get it ejected now. Im on my way to the range, will be back with a report.
theloneharanguer, yes it is weird that it fell down in out rather that through the ejection port flying and spinning.... I dont know.
Thanks everyone for your concerns and help. I am about to completely clean it right now and inspect it very well. I will let you all with interest know how it...
ok, update. I got the cartridge ejected. I had to slam it back 10 good times in a row before it finally fell down through the mag well.
Here are some pics and a video of me pulling the slide back trying to eject the cartridge when it doesn in fact finally let go.
Video...
coronach, it seems that the slide does not slide all the way rearward. It will not allow me to manually lock the slide back. I think this is my problem for some odd reason.
cliff123, lol glad I could help, that was actually my dilema and well you see what I went with.....
strangelittleman, mag has been released, slide can be repeatedly slammed back to eject the cart. but it seems almost as if the cartridge is a bit too long, i know it sounds crazy. The picture...
Hi everyone. I brought this little beaut home a few days ago. It has never been fired other than the factory test shot. Now I won't have a chance to get to the range until tomorrow (sunday). So I just wanted to make sure that my winchester fmj rounds would feed properly which they did just fine...
I only need to carry one 17 round magazine I think. If 17+1 rounds don't do me any good than I doubt another mag would make much of a difference, unless ofcourse the zombies are walking around again
Hello, my father has just passed away (God rest his soul). My brother and I inherited his new and old firearms. The one firearm I wanted to keep was his 30 M1 Carbine. It has very many fond memories of my father taking us out and shooting it. I would like to restore this weapon and keep it that...
I havent fired an XD9 but I can tell you that my SR9 is superb in every aspect. 1050 worry free rounds out of her with not one hiccup of any sort. Im happy with my choice and stand by the SR9 as a great firearm. If at all possible try and atleast rent one at a range or just hold one and caress...
Pythons are rapidly multiplying down here due to people releaseing their pet snakes when they get too big or aggresive into our everglades. I've heard and seen a few attacks on people from big pythons. All of them were because the python was hungry and or aggitated of some sort resulting in bone...
hmmmm first time I heard of this problem with the SR9. Sucks! Totally unacceptable. My SR9 on the other hand has been nothing but a reliable, gorgeous and an accurate shooter to boot.
The trigger pull on my SR9 is quite pleasant actually. Lots of people say that its real gritty. My trigger pull was a little bit gritty at first, but it smoothed out quite nicely after a couple hundered rounds.
