    Glock Gen 4 problems?

This is disheartening. I have always wanted to like Glocks, and the Gen 4 feels better in my hand. Nearly picked up a Gen 4 G19 in the store today. Ug.

Selling my CZs! Zed wasn’t so bad friend but there are better ones

I noticed his threads on several of those forums as well... not that it matters. CZ internet popularity changes depending on the forum. Lots of guys here and over on the firing line like them and have had generally good results with them. Over on m4carbine.net they aren't big fans in...

I've joined the 3rd Gen S&W cult, kinda

I have a 4043 that I really like. I bought it because it was 250 bucks, police trade in and in great shape. I later learned that it was a 3rd gen and those were known for being quite good.

    Kahr PM9 / Ruger LCP / Keltec P3AT Recoil??

Know doubt it has to be her choice, she has chosen all her own guns. No luck renting any of those models, so looking to gather some input. While recoil in general is certainly personal, whether or not a pm9 has a ton more recoil than an lcp shouldn't be too terribly subjective.

    Kahr PM9 / Ruger LCP / Keltec P3AT Recoil??

My wife went in to the gun store to pick up a Kahr PM9 for summer carry. She wanted to keep with the same caliber as her other carry pistols. The sales guy put her off of it a bit by saying it is a real pain to shoot, being a 9mm in such a small gun. He steered her towards something in .380...

    Arizonans! Make your voice heard!

I know we are happy out here in Mesa that it passed! I grew up in Montana, where gun handling skills are taught pretty young. I do see a lot of that in AZ, but that may be due to the type of folks I associate with. If the general concern is lack of education, well... that can be remedied. We...

Agreed on High Noon. http://www.highnoonholsters.com/Product_Line/Belt_Holsters/Inside_The_Waistband/inside_the_waistband.html Scroll to the bottom for the tuckable holsters. I currently use the Alter Ego and wear it A-IWB.

Hey great read. I love my P-01 but would like a shorter reset as well. Good luck and keep up the report!

    The trouble with cows:

I have had to deal with the cow issue in both Montana and Arizona. It can be pretty frustrating. These days, if I am going shooting in a free range area, I just bring my dogs. they push the cows about 50-100 feet and then happily come back to the jeep. They do a good job keeping them away...

What's the difference between the CZ PO-1 and the CZ 75 compact (both having rails)?

Skillet, The P-07 is CZ's entry into the polymer market. I don't know if it could be called a "polymer P-01" as I haven't handled one, but I do know it can be had with either the decocker or manual safety, as the part can be changed by the end user. Here is a link if you haven't seen it...

What's the difference between the CZ PO-1 and the CZ 75 compact (both having rails)?

It lowers the hammer to a "half cocked" position. The pull is shorter than a full double action pull, but not as short as single action. Also, it doesn't have a manual safety. There is a firing pin block engaged when you "decock it" so the gun is safe, but no safety to disengage upon drawing...

    What scope for my AR-15?

Some good things being said about the nightforce for sure. http://www.tacticalintervention.com/reviewnightforce1-4.html Interesting thread on some other 1-4 options; http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=104...

    AR-15/M4 Need recommendations (brands, etc.)

ADS (Advanced Defense Systems) is a local company here in Arizona that I have heard many great things about. To my knowledge they build their rifles "milspec plus". May be worth a look.... http://www.adsrifles.com/index.htm

How much does you AR weigh?

BLues, I hear a lot of good things about the stock. It's a little bit of a heavier one though, right? Thanks all for the responses so far! Quite a range of weights.

How much does you AR weigh?

I have heard a few people over the years give their opinion as to what an "AR" should weigh. That's interesting, for one, because AR/configurations can be set up for varying situations. Nevertheless, I weighed a buddies AR the other day and it got me thinking about the notion. I would...

    Saiga 7.62x39 accuracy?

Pretty consistently shoot 2.5 MOA here. I have shot better groups, but 2.5 is pretty easy to average with my 7.62
