I bought my 1st 3.3" .45acp XDs in Aug'13 (w/pineapple grenade grip treatment) and my 2nd (Mod2) in Aug'19.
As I type this sitting at my kitchen table, my XDs Mod2 is in a DeSantis MiniScabbard holster at 4:00 on my belt. ;)
I like the first model very much and the second even more. It...

For me it started with a black leather Roy Baker pancake holster for my PPK/s in 1975. I still have the holster, btw. Extremely comfortable under my suit-/sport-coat and the weight of the pistol would "disappear" shortly after adding it to the belt. :)
<shrug> No unsecured, fire-able firearms at my house. There is, however, a large number of unsecured sharp-pointed and/or -edged objects all over the place.

I learned the universal hard lesson about batteries in the 50s when I experienced some that had "gooped" in toys.

I have one configured with a hammer and the other without.

<chuckle> Not only do you have multiple 27Ses but you also have them threaded for cans.
I bet those suppressed Marlins are really quiet as I have always deemed my 27S to be borderline OK for open-field-shooting sans earpro. :)
I would be happy to pay $20 apiece to attend one of the old-style Gun Shows. Y'know, lots of tables/vendors with mostly generally-well-priced used firearms, reloading supplies and accessories ... and some lightweight food service on-site (w/ tables & chairs).
I used to really enjoy slowly...
A VG-condition G43 or K43 ... but, alas, they have long since surged past what I am willing to pay for one.
Even repeatedly mentioned offers of trading some SVT-40s as part or all of the price has produced no nibbles over the years. <sigh>
Life. :)
