Venting... (hopefully not violating the rules)

I did buy a bicycle 8 months ago. Actually I ordered it, paid for it and waited 6 months to get it. Ordered my wife a made in the USA rowing machine for her birthday in April of 2020 - delivered in August. C’est la vie. Happy with both purchases BTW. It’s just the new and hopefully temporary norm.

    OMG...they have primers...

    >>>>>$3.99 per 100 on primers. <<<<< >>>>>$3.99 per 100 on primers. <<<<< Is not too high given that they are breaking a box for your convenience. I doubt theyre charging the multiple for a full K.

    Old Dupont IMR powder data?

Older data Wow, thanks again everyone particularly to the folks who took the time to scan data sheets. I've checked all the powder and only found 3 1lb cans that were suspicious - really only 2 of the powders had gone off, sections of the lid of the other can crumbled into the powder as I...

Older manuals Thanks for the tip on used book stores. Our local library didnt have anything sufficiently aged but Amazon did and have ordered some. Eventually they'll get here. In the meanwhile let me thank everyone who answered and helped me out. Happy Shooting!

What clever little things have you "invented or discovered" that you can share?

Rx containers are perfect when developing rifle loads. The slim ones will easily hold 9 rnds of 6.5x55 Swede (pretty long round, over 3") and the fatter ones even more (if you need more 3 3 shot groups) to evaluate a load. So build up a succesion of loads in .2 or .3 grain increments and keep...

    Old Dupont IMR powder data?

Greetings; A friend who has been reloading for many years recently gave me a good deal of vintage powder (@30lbs) - rectangular metal 1lb cans, unopened. I queried Hodgdon today and was told that the powder was in all likelihood good to use (when I do open it examine physically and of course...

    Chargemaster 750 & error codes

Great little scale, I've got several. Why do you say? Because they die. Not completely, they just stop functioning and give a numeric error code like 002008. So you buy another one and after a year or so it does the same thing. Rinse and repeat. Great scales, just not robust. WARNING - THIS...

Is there a way to mark my reloads ?

I use some of my wifes discarded nail polish over base of rifle brass - Nuthin like "Cajun Shrimp" to stand out.... Just run the brush over them when you have them in a loading block or box and the base end up. Any reason why that wouldnt work on pistol brass?
